About me
Yunzhu is a dedicated undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Dance with a minor in Performance Design and Technologies at Macalester College. Passionate about all fields in technical theater, she is committed to designing and realizing the wondrous world of every production.
Within Macalester College, Yunzhu has served as lead scenic designer for the Department Main Stage Production of Hair and Titanic Orchestra, and she assisted other designers for many other productions. Yunzhu has also participated in numerous professional productions in the Twin Cities, such as working as a scenic design assistant for Jungle Theater’s Cambodian Rock Band.
With the proven ability to work effectively in a team setting and adapt quickly, Yunzhu is eager for new challenges and further developing skills in the field of theatrical design.
During her free time, Yunzhu likes to geek about Gundam Models (Gunpla), LEGO, and YouTube logistics videos.
Employment Experience
Collaborated in production design processes and draft design packages. Created renderings for prospective events.
Produced truck packs, tracked inventory, and completed select bookkeeping tasks through the RMS system to assist the Production Manager and the Technical Director.
Assist in shop‑prep, load‑in, show run, load-out, and de‑prepof shows and events.
