Class Assignment - Painted muslin on 4’ by 6’ wooden stage flat
Constructed and Painted by me.
The tiles are made of a sound isolation board. Each one is hand carved and painted individually.

The background is achieved through the repetition of stencils. The sculpture is hand sketched and painted, referencing the original work La Promessa by Matteo Pugliese.

Class Assignment - Painting on muslin stretched on a 4’ by 8’ canvas
Hand-painted bricks and wooden panels to resemble an aged and worn wall. The brick section experiments with the difference between using a stencil and using a ruler to outline.
I like to mix some of the prepared paints as I work on texturing to achieve a more blended and natural look.
